Gulf Gate Library opened in November 1973, in a small storefront on Gateway Avenue and later moved to 2264 Gulf Gate Drive. A donor gave the property on the corner of Gulf Gate Drive and Curtiss Avenue where a new library opened on December 3, 1983. |
| Gulf Gate Library plays a very important role in the community. Over the years, our library has changed as it strives to meet the needs of a changing society. |
|
| While offering new fiction in traditional form, Gulf Gate Library now offers music CDs, DVDs, audio books, and free downloading of e-books to patrons. Free computer classes are offered and free access to the internet makes it possible for our patrons to apply for essential government services. |
